GVT Web Services

The Visions Server allows for utilization of "web services".  Web services simply put is the ability for systems to "talk" to each other.  Where web services makes the most sense if you have data in one system that needs to feed into another system.

With the Visions Server - your GVT system can read and "consume" data from another third party or legacy system so that you don't have to enter your data twice.  In a different scenario - data that is entered into your GVT FAMCare or ClinicalPURSUIT system can be "exposed" so that another third party or legacy system can "consume" that data from the other end.

In most cases, software that utilizes web services can do one or the other.  They can either expose or consume data.  The Visions Server allows for both - therefore your FAMCare or ClinicalPURSUIT application can do both.

In order for web services to work properly - the third party system, must also allow for web services.  If not - GVT has data import processes and services that we offer, as well.  We could schedule regular data imports as needed from those other systems.  Although the process won't be totally automated as in a true "web service methodology", our software can still help you accomplish the goal of data transfers if you need or request them.
