GVT Open New Office in Detroit

Sunday, August 10, 2008

St. Louis / Atlanta, August 10, 2008 - Global Vision Technologies Inc. (GVT), an innovative and premiere software developer specializing in secure, web-based case management solutions (FAMCare), announced today the opening of their new offices in Detroit, Michigan.

The new office is located in the FD Lofts at Eastern Market. Formerly the Detroit Fire Department Repair Shop, the FD Lofts is a National Register Historic Building. On any given Saturday, some 30,000 people of all walks of life can be found shopping and browsing just down the street from the FD Lofts.

“It’s a great area and the building has the beauty and charm of century old brick, soaring wood-beam ceilings and ten foot tall industrial-sized windows - it’s got a real industrial chic flair and should fit our company culture well. We’re close to the art galleries and restaurants and it’s a real dynamic urban atmosphere,” said CTO, Chris Freund. The new office, at 3434 Russell St., Suite 210 in Detroit will serve as the base of operations for their Wayne County customers. “Our new location is part of our growth and expansion strategy and will allow us to better serve the needs of our Michigan clients and partners,” said Freund.

A provider of state-of-the-art child welfare and juvenile justice case management software solutions for over 10 years, Global Vision Technologies continues to build relationships with organizations in Michigan who want to improve their information management processes. Through the use of secure web-based services, GVT helps public and private agencies improve data collection, data management and data sharing, allowing them to make faster decisions related to the children and families under their care and supervision.

“Over the years we have developed strong relationships and have clients throughout the state. We see the new location as a logical progression allowing us to work more closely with our friends in Michigan, especially Wayne County,” said Freund.

GVT has leased an additional space in the Stadium District building in downtown Lansing, Michigan while they continue their work as a vendor to the State of Michigan Department of Human Services, whom they have served since 2000.
