On December 13, 2011, at 2 p.m. E.T., the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Service Administration’s Traumatic Brain Injury Technical Assistance Center will sponsor the Webinar, “Children in the Juvenile Justice System—Screening, Treatment, and Department of Juvenile Justice Partnerships.”

The Webinar will examine the issues facing juvenile offenders with traumatic brain injuries and describe how they can receive proper screening and treatment within the juvenile justice system. Other topics that will be discussed include the key components of partnerships between the juvenile justice and mental health systems, issues facing mental health providers in juvenile justice, maximizing program sustainability, and more.
