More and more people are being required to take continuing education courses to keep up on certifications or to keep up with the competition.  One of the downsides from the employees standpoint is the additional time required to attend the training class, session or seminar.

This is a very interesting story of something that happened recently in Australia.  There are a couple of things going on here.  One centers around child abuse charges over a video of a man swinging a baby by its arms.  The other - around a second man who uploaded the video to a video sharing site.  Both face at least 10 years in prison.
