First, some e-learning stats:
Did you know... Users reported a 20% decrease in communication and travel costs both internally and in external supplier relationships (according to a November 2009 T&D Magazine article, The Wonders of Conversion , quoting a McKinsey & Company Survey )
Also... Production innovation soared by 20% because organizations could receive input from partners and customers quickly and apply feedback to products. (same Digital: Beyond Our Control, But Within Our Reach )
Best E-learning and Communication Tools of 2009
An associate of ours, Jane Hart - an e-learning strategist from the U.K. has compiled (with the help of the e-learning community) a comprehensive list of the best resource and tools of 2009. One of them was "Wordle". WORDLE is described as a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text.
Here's how it works - you type in text or add a blog RSS feed and "wallah" - a word cloud image will appear that you can print, share with your friends or save as an image. I added the GVT Blog to see what would happen:

This is the "essence" of the GVT Blog and our posts. Really, really cool!
The 100 resources are listed here: Review of 2009: 100 great resources, chronologically by the month in which they appeared.
Hope you make 2010 a very productive year for your organization and the clients that you serve!
Cheers!
