Found an interesting report today that I wanted to share...

Report Presents National Data on Child Well-Being

The Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics has released "America's Children: Key National Indicators of Well-Being, 2009." The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is one of the 22 Federal agencies that constitute the Forum.

Since 1997, the Forum has published this annual report, which provides detailed information on the welfare of children and families, alternating between a comprehensive report, as is the case this year, and a condensed version highlighting selected indicators.

This year's comprehensive report tracks three demographic background measures and 40 key indicators and features children with special health care needs.
